Luciano inherited his passion from his mum Ninfa. It was her who collected cheeses in the dairies in order to sell them on the traditional market in Udine in the 20ies. Luciano, assisted by his wife Francesca extended this tradition: he started driving around with his ‘Giardinetta' and selected the best cheeses from the most renowned producers in order to mature them and to offer everyone the best and most genuine cheeses of the region.

Luciano has passed his knowledge on to his sons Marco and Paolo and the ‘giardinetta' has now become a new, large establishment of more than 3000m 2 . Air conditioning systems and computer-controlled refrigerated storerooms for perfect maturation of the products. This guarantees the quality together with strict adherence to hygienic and sanitary regulations.

Today as before, the Tradition of the Pezzetta Taste means to be able to trust those who know how to choose; to taste what you wish whilst taking the advice of those who select and mature cheeses and cured meats with the same passion as always.
